Read how volunteering at Lenawee Medical Care Facility in Adrian has changed lives

"After my father's death in 2007, I realized how precious time and life was, and that it was more important for me to spend my time helping others. Volunteering lets you be yourself; time goes by quickly when you are having fun and are truly helping someone. I have always been a people person, but never realized how much fun it was to be around to many Grandpa and Grandmas at the same time. It has been my privilege to volunteer at Lenawee Medical Care Facility for the last three years."

~ Donna Deming

"As far back as I can remember, I have always enjoyed helping others and bringing joy to whoever God inspired me to help. There is no greater thrill or excitement for me than seeing a sparkle in ones eye or a smile on ones face when I have been allowed to share in their life."

~ Sherry Schaffer

"I get to share a smile, chat a while, and make someone else's day a little brighter through various volunteer opportunities. One year ago, I set out with a goal to "Make a Difference" in the lives of others...but what I didn't expect was the difference it made in me! Thank you, Lenawee Medical Care Facility, for allowing me to be a part of your volunteer program!"
